Ebay, the online auction site, is the world’s biggest marketplace. The site is among the top 5 in terms of web traffic, and the nicest part of it is that visitors come there to buy and sell stuff. That’s why every infopreneur should sell ebooks on eBay.

You could sell ebooks on Ebay as a standalone product, or packaged with other items on auctions. You could sell ebooks on ebay with a unique or different slant, by approaching sellers who are listing related products, and giving them your ebooks to include in their auctions or give their buyers as a bonus!

No matter how you go about it and sell ebooks on eBay, there are some very good reasons for you to do it.

#1 – Sell Ebooks on Ebay for Money

List your ebooks on an auction. Place a ‘Buy It Now’ price on it for instant sales. If you like, sell multiple copies as a package, or throw in other bonuses like resale rights. It’s a quick cash injection for your infopreneur business.

#2 – Sell Ebooks on Ebay for List Building

Many smart infopreneurs are using eBay to build prospect and customer lists by offering targeted ebooks for a throwaway price on eBay.

For instance, if you have an expensive course on Forex trading or public speaking or guitar playing, you could create a short primer ebook and sell it on Ebay for $1 or $5. Your aim is not to make money from it, but to attract people interested in the topic to your list.

Once they get on your list, you promote the higher priced course to them, making you a big profit without wasting too much time and money on marketing.

#3 – Sell Ebooks on Ebay for Branding

By being listed on the world’s biggest online marketplace, you are getting wider name recognition as the author of an ebook. That’s another reason to sell ebooks on Ebay – it helps in branding yourself as an expert.

#4 – Sell Ebooks on Ebay for Research

The hardest part about starting a new project is finding out if there is a market for it. Earlier, you had to take a chance with creating something and throwing it out to see if it sticks, or else waste valuable time and resources conducting market surveys – which could still be wrong!

Not any more. Write a short snappy ebook on the topic. List it on eBay. See how it sells. If it is hot, and there’s a lot of demand, you know with some certainty that the product idea is viable. So you can sell ebooks on eBay as a research process!

#5 – Sell Ebooks on Ebay for Finding Affiliates

While not the best place to look for affiliates that perform well, you still may be surprised by results if you get a few Power Sellers on eBay to endorse and promote your ebook.

You can either list your ebook on eBay and wait to be noticed. Or you can be more proactive and approach sellers in your niche about helping promote your ebook to their customer base. You can do this by making them an irresistible offer, giving away the lion’s share of frontend profits so you can get access to qualified buyers, and then sell them more products and services at a profit.

I hope this short article has given you some ideas. As an infopreneur, if you are not already selling ebooks on eBay, get started right away. And remember to keep learning more about smart infopreneuring to get incremental gains from all your marketing efforts, on eBay and off.

As utility costs continue to increase, chances are you are doing all that you can to lower the amount of energy you use in your home. Both electricity and gas bills are a concern for many families today. While there are some things you can do around your home, like turning off lights or lowering the thermostat in the winter, sometimes you will need some outside help to find a way to lower electric bill amounts.

There are several tools you can use to reduce electric bill costs and save power. One option you can use is the high efficiency light bulbs that are becoming popular. These light bulbs provide as much light as incandescent bulbs do, but they last longer, thus creating less waste. They also use far less electricity than traditional bulbs. These bulbs use around a quarter of the amount of electricity that standard bulbs do. For instance, a 25-watt compact fluorescent bulb provides as much light as a 100-watt incandescent bulb. By replacing the incandescent bulbs in your home with these higher efficiency light bulbs, you will save power.

The Power Save 1200 is another option you can use to lower electric bills for your family. The Power Save 1200 reduces your electricity consumption by actually reducing the wasted electricity in your home. While you can control some electricity waste, such as the electricity you waste when you leave a light on, some wasted electricity is unavoidable. When electricity runs through the wires and the appliances in your home, some of it converts to heat. The heat is wasted power. The Power Save 1200 helps to eliminate this form of wasted power. The Power Save 1200 is a box that you place by your breaker box. It contains transformers that can store and release electricity to some of the items in your home. Specifically, the Power Save 1200 can help power motors in your home.

When something with a motor in it, such as your air conditioner, needs to run, the appliance or device sends a signal to the transformer at your utility company’s box requesting the power it needs. This request must travel through the wiring in your house, your circuit panel, the meter, and all the way to the transformer. This path creates a lot of heat, which is wasted electricity. However, when you have a Power Save 1200 installed, the request for power will stop at the Power Save 1200 device, because it has the electricity stored that your device needs to begin running. This reduces how much is lost to heat. In fact, this device can lower electric bills by as much as 25% when used correctly. On top of the money you will save, you will also notice that the items in your home that contain motors last longer, because they do not heat up as much as they did before you installed the device.

Finally, consider installing solar garden lights in your outdoor living space in your quest to lower electric bill amounts for your home. These lights will provide the amount of light you need for your outdoor space, without any electricity. They absorb the light from the sun and convert it to electricity. At night, they light up and provide the light you need along your walkway or in your garden. If you use enough of them, you may be able to stop using your porch light, thus saving power for your home.

They key to lowering electric bills is using common sense and installing the devices that can help reduce your electric consumption. While some of these devices seem as though they cost a lot at the time of purchase, keep in mind that they provide continued savings month after month on your electric bill. Not only that, but they also help protect the environment. We can all take steps to save power, and installing some of these devices is one way you can do so.

Ken Potter is the founder and owner of http://www.USaveOnElectric.com, where you can buy the Power Save 1200, which can lower electric bills up to 25%. This site also carries the Power Save 3200 and Power Save 3400 Units for Commercial use.

I like to think that penny stocks are lone marauders that buck long held stock market trends. They don’t follow typical trading patterns, they don’t care how much oil is trading at (unless it’s an energy stock of course), they don’t care what Bill Gates thinks, and for-the-most-part, their performance isn’t based on what goes on overseas or here at home.

To a large extent, it’s this independence that makes penny stocks more fun to watch; it also makes them much riskier than their mid and large-cap peers.

Having said that, I do have to remind myself of what the great 17th century poet John Donne famously noted: “No man is an island, entire of itself…”

Despite my bullish sentiment on the independent merits of penny stocks, there are some external factors of note that can have an immediate impact on the long-term sentiment of penny stocks in general.

Remember, investors (of every ilk) can be a fickle bunch, jumping ship or jumping the bandwagon at any given point, sending the markets reeling or soaring. As such, upbeat news from the only economic voice of note that really matters is a good thing.

Enter Ben Bernanke.

Being the chairman of the Federal Reserve means you’re the voice of the world’s most influential economic policy. Not an easy task…especially when every single word you utter (in private and public) is scrutinized. And can have an immediate impact on global stock markets.

One year after Ben Bernanke took the helm at the Federal Reserve (on Jan. 31, 2006) the central bank appears to have achieved a sought-after “soft landing” for the U.S economy.

Bernanke was drawing widespread praise after Wednesday’s announcement that the Fed was holding rates steady for a fifth consecutive meeting. At the same time, he also indicated that the U.S. economy remains healthy and that inflation pressures are easing.

For penny stock investors, that’s like getting a hole-in-one. “They don’t have to cut rates because of weakness, and they don’t have to raise rates because of inflationary problems,” said one analyst.

Another noted, “This was a short and sweet statement that inflation is easing and growth is solid. In other words, the Fed almost seemed to be on the verge of declaring victory.”

And the markets cheered.

North American stock markets closed higher Wednesday – with fresh records set in both New York and Toronto. New York’s Dow Jones industrial jumped 98.38 points to a new record high of 12,621.69. Toronto’s S&P/TSX composite index advanced 19.52 points to 13,034.12, moving past the 13,021.77 record high set in mid-December.

More importantly, the Penny Stock Index reached a new all-time high of 12,211.

On the first anniversary of his ascent to the Federal Reserve throne, Bernanke delivered an upbeat message to the eager ears of Wall Street. While penny stocks march to a different tune, we can all agree that when Bernanke speaks, the world listens.

And when the message is upbeat, it’s good to have Bernanke on our island.

A seasoned investor with a keen interest in international business and current affairs, John Whitefoot has been working alongside Peter Leeds for the last several years. With over ten years experience in the investing community, Whitefoot is devoted to uncovering the news, trends and ideas that shape penny stocks on a daily basis.

SUMMARY: TradeTech LLC Chief Executive Gene Clark talked with StockInterview about the uranium bull market, where his price models show uranium prices heading and when to expect the peak of the current upward cycle of the bull market. When will “hard” times again hit the uranium market, and how long will the trough last? And what does the future hold for the uranium price? An industry insider gives us his insights.

StockInterview: When the uranium bull market began, did you foresee $40/pound uranium, now that the spot price has risen above this level?

Gene Clark: I don’t think any of us saw $40 per pound coming. We had price projections at the time that indicated probably $25 per pound, which would be a long term equilibrium price in constant dollar terms. But, I think it was a surprise the price went up so high. I think what’s going, the biggest factor right now, is the advent of the so called hedge funds or speculator funds and other such groups. The price started to go up, and they came into the market with the express purpose of buying for holding and then selling into the market later to realize the trading profit. In 2005, the hedge funds were responsible for purchasing about 10 million pounds of the 29 million pounds purchased. I think the market is now finally adjusting to the realities of primary supply and demand. It’s been a depressed market for 20 or 30 years, primarily from the draw down of excess inventories, and what we call secondary supply.

StockInterview: Will the speculators remain active in driving the spot uranium price higher?

Gene Clark: I think there is still some room for further speculation activity. Uranium Participation Corporation, for example, is rumored to be about to come to the equities market again to raise funds for another purchase. They’re asking for authority to buy UF6, as well as U308, and different forms of uranium than they were locked into before. Whether it be at the 10 million pound level (size of purchase), I think it kind of depends on where the market goes. If it tends to flatten out, then I think there’s going to be obviously less interest on their part. When they were active in the market, they, of course, wanted the price to go up. Therefore, they weren’t too careful about what they paid for uranium. I think that’s a part of it. In the long run, it was due for a readjustment to reflect prices of the cost of new production facilities. But, the hedge funds came in and overdrove the market. Eventually, what it’s going to wind up doing is, if they sell off, it could have the impact of driving prices back down below where they would otherwise have gone.

StockInterview: Did the speculators interfere with the trading efficiency of the uranium market?

Gene Clark: In theory, speculators come in, tend to take the risk and smooth out market prices. But, it never really works out that way. They always come in and only take the risk, if there’s an opportunity to make money. So some people make a lot of money. It does tend to upset the market. If you get away from the primary users of uranium and primary producers of uranium as your market participants, then you tend to introduce more noise than you would like.

StockInterview: With that in mind, in which direction are your price projections going?

Gene Clark: We’re actually updating our uranium price forecast right now. We haven’t decided on a reference case yet. The reference cases we’re looking at will peak at about $50 to $55 per pound in about three years, and will then drop off pretty drastically. It has to do with a selling of the speculator reserves, the uranium that’s being held (for speculative purposes). I can see it coming back down to $30, maybe below $30 per pound. Then, in the long run – out through 2020 – getting easily back up over $40 per pound.

StockInterview: Are you predicting a down cycle during the course of the uranium bull market?

Gene Clark: Yes. It’s pretty consistent with everything we’re doing with the changes in requirements, in different cases of high, low, and medium demand. Our modeling system is projecting this. It has to do with the supply and demand balance and the cost on the margin. The way to describe it is that prices have come to a point now of higher than we would have projected them to be, such that over-supply is going to evolve. The large low cost projects will reach a point where supply then overshoots demand for a few years, which causes the price to come back down. Then demand growth, in the long run, picks up and puts a lot of pressure on the supply market to be able to meet the demand. So you wind up with pressure toward the end of the period.

StockInterview: But the markets are finicky, filled with variables, and can frequently trick price models.

Gene Clark: Here’s what it would take to shoot that down: We have a problem with small numbers, and there are some very large projects – Cigar Lake, for example. The expansion of Olympic Dam in Australia would be going from about 12 million pounds of production to over 30 million pounds, if they finish. If you shift that out by four or five years, or if the owner decides, “No, we’re not going to expand at all,” you have a drastic effect. Then you would wind up with $100 per pound uranium, I think.

StockInterview: What are your estimates on the peak price years and the bottom years?

Gene Clark: A lot of things could change, but here is what we’re looking at. In one case scenario, the speculators are really going to stay out of the market and holding onto their stuff for a long time. If so, then we’re going to be at the peak by the end of this year. If they stay active in the market and buying, then that stretches it out further. Depending on the scenario, we see the peak possibly at 2008 or so. I would say we’re looking at a trough around the timeframe of 2011 to 2013. Then back up after that.

StockInterview: How do you arrive at your weekly numbers for the spot uranium price?

Gene Clark: We get our data from all of the key sources: the utility fuel managers, sales staff and management of uranium producers and processors, and uranium traders, brokers and asset managers. Some are, of course, more cooperative than others, and whom we call depends on the type of information we are seeking. Since our price indicators are a judgment call, we often focus on the losers in particular recent transactions, as those will be the next to make offers in the market.

StockInterview: Let’s back up a bit. Why has uranium gone up past the levels of the “cost of production,” which would place the spot price between $25 and $35/pound?

Gene Clark: The biggest factor, in signaling the market, was when utilities went out for long term bid requests. They found they reached a period in which producers would have to build new facilities. Producers building those facilities felt, “I have to make at least enough profit to cover a return on the construction costs for these facilities.” That was much higher than the market at the time. Basically, you reached a point where the cheap stuff has been sold. Now, we have to actually spend some money, some capital, to build new facilities, new mines and new mills. That was, I think, the earliest signal of the price needing to adjust.

StockInterview: Isn’t there a ton of hype across all media channels about the “nuclear renaissance” and the demand for more nuclear energy?

Gene Clark:
First of all, all the hype about nuclear renaissance is really in the United States. The Chinese have had plans to expand for a long time. The Japanese have been steadily adding new capacity. Koreans have been adding new capacity. Indians have been adding new capacity all along, all the way through this, even before we started this discussion on nuclear renaissance. I think that phrase is really focused more in the United States, which really hasn’t ordered a plant since 1976 or something like that. There is a boom. Maybe it’s the uranium renaissance.

StockInterview: Is all of what we’ve been reading just plain hype?

Gene Clark: There is some hype, but there is also some substance. A part of it is certainly a change in public attitude about nuclear power. If I was riding on an airplane, ten years ago, and someone asked me what I did for a living, I was guaranteed to have a lousy trip, arguing about nuclear power. When I mention it now, I get a positive response. There’s been a marked shift in public attitude about nuclear power. From the standpoint of the utilities that would be ordering nuclear plants. To the extent that they need new capacity, looking at nuclear now is not off the drawing boards, partly because of public attitude. The industry has been moving through this trough period, preparing itself for a new era. It remains to be seen when the first order comes. But when the first actual order of a nuclear power plant, along with the license application does come, I think you’ll see several U.S. utilities following, probably five utilities very actively involved.

StockInterview: When will that actually happen?

Gene Clark: I think it will come within the next five years, the ordering process. Of course it will be probably another eight years before we actually see the first power plant from that process. We’re talking probably about 13 years. That’s how long it takes. You can actually construct one in 48 months, but you have to have been through the licensing. If you don’t believe the anti-nuclear people are going to be psyched up to fight the first plant coming through, then you’d be very naïve. The first one is going to be more difficult and take more time, I think.

StockInterview: One anti-nuclear group told us they do not believe we’ll have more nuclear power plants in the United States.

Gene Clark: That’s possible, but given the current circumstances, my guess is we will have more nuclear plants. We need the capacity, whether we’re going to build coal plants (or other types of power generating plants). I just came from California, moved here (to North Carolina) six months ago. They were talking in California about building gas-fired plants for base load generation, which is the most ridiculous thing you can imagine. The plants are cheap to build, but the fuel cost is exorbitant. I did a speech a couple of years ago, having looked at the Energy Information Administration’s projections of gas demand. All the growth in natural gas demand is going to be in the electric utility sector. We are going to be importing 60 percent of our gas supplies by 2020. Does that make any sense? No. We have a lot of coal, but there are lots of complaints about coal burning. In our state of North Carolina, the attorney general is actually suing the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) for the damage from coal burning of the TVA’s power plants in the adjacent state, in Tennessee. There’s going to be continued pressure on coal burning. I think nuclear has as good a shot as any in terms of new capacity.

StockInterview: Some critics have argued China and India will not be able to afford the massive nuclear power plant build up they’ve envisioned.

Gene Clark: If you think the Chinese are going to have any problem financing things, you’d better think twice. Let’s focus on India. India is a clear case where, and it is a good rule of thumb, one percent growth in gross domestic product requires one percent growth in electricity requirement. For India to grow economically, it needs electric power. Where are they going to get it? They have coal plants there, as well. Once you use up all your hydro capacity, you really don’t have much to choose from, except coal, natural gas, and nuclear. To the extent that they can have economic growth and export income, coming into their country, they would be able to finance nuclear power plants. My guess is they’re going to get the vendors of the nuclear plant to help finance them.

StockInterview: Are you talking about the French?

Gene Clark: Framatome – the company that constructs the nuclear plants. Financing is generally part of the package. The first plants in China were basically financed by the French government. If the French go into India, you’ll see the same thing. The Russians have financed plants for developing countries. That’s not unusual for them to do. The United States may, or may not, get involved. I think there have been some types of guarantees in the past, but not at the same level as the Russians and French do it. I think those are the big choices. I wouldn’t be surprised to see the South Koreans involved in the reactor export market. They’ve pretty much developed their own technology now. They have the capability of building 100 percent of a nuclear power plant in South Korea: the pressure vessels, all the steel requirements. They can do it all. We really haven’t seen them export yet, because they’ve used up all their manufacturing capacity for their own program. At some stage, I wouldn’t be surprised to see that happen. And I think they would be able to finance reactor export sales.

StockInterview: How are the U.S. utilities going to fare in getting their “share” of uranium to fuel our domestic nuclear power plants in the context of the apparent overwhelming Asian demand?

Gene Clark: In reality, the U.S. utilities, which tend to wait longer to contract, may be the ones on the losing end because the Chinese and the Indians will contract early. The implication of current group-think is that the Chinese and Indians are not going to be able to find enough uranium for their new plants. But, they are committing for supplies way out into the future. When the U.S. utilities come to the market, they’re going to look around say, “Oh blankety- blank, what happened? Where’s the uranium?” They’ll be the ones that sat around. I think that is what’s going to happen unless things really change in the way contracting is done in the United States.

Forex trading is a hot commodity today and is on the rise. Commodity forex online trading is probably something that you personally have never heard of but it has been done by banks, large financial institutions, and multi-national corporations of years and years. These companies have gotten filthy rich off this ungoverned and unregulated market and now it is your turn. Forex trading is an absolute gold mind and if done properly can turn your low risk investment into millions and millions of dollars. The exchange rate, both on a global and local level control all the forex trading today.

The object of the market in a nutshell is to buy currency for cheap while the exchange rate is low, and wait for your currency to rise as the market fluctuates and sell it. You can make a killing doing this on a daily basis and as this market is unregulated your earning potential can sky through the roof. You can find yourself quitting your day job and focusing on currency trading within a matter of weeks. The foreign exchange market can turn the average Joe into a big name multi-millionaire. It can definitely change your life for the better.

The custom forex indicator is a good way of telling how each different currency is doing at any point in type. Basically the market is the exchange of currencies between two different countries. Believe it or not, if you have traveled to a different country you participated in forex trading at a much lower level. Being up-to-date on all international issues is a must. The slightest sway in global events can change your currency value dramatically for the best or worse.

You don’t need to spend thousands and thousands of dollars on broker forex online trading. No need for a fancy broker in forex trading, that may be only needed for stock trading. Forex trading is much more different and a lot more profitable. So when you are thinking forex trading, do not think of the stock market. They are similar, yet so much different. You need to get yourself an easy forex system and stick to it. For a low cost of a system, you can find yourself making a killing day after day. This year alone I have made over $300,000 just by trading currencies. Forex global trading has finally hit its highest point in history. Individual forex traders are finally finding out the benefits instead of this business strictly being for financial institutions or multi-national corporations. If they can make millions of dollars doing it, why can’t you?

With forex trading you absolutely and positively control your own destiny. This market is 100% liquidated and you are never tied up in a certain currency. You can get out at anytime and trade your currency away at anytime. Unlike the stock exchange, the forex market is open 24hrs a day. There is no other investing market out there with this type of service! I wish you the best of luck!

E-Commerce

Introduction

An e-commerce solution for a business is the incorporation of all aspects of the business operation into an electronic format. Many well-established businesses have been selling on-line for years. For example, Dell Computers Corp., has been selling computers directly to end-users for years. Currently, Dell is selling excessive of 1 million dollars worth of computers everyday on the World Wide Web (WWW).

When a business has incorporated an e-commerce solution, the business will experience a lower operation cost while at the same time increasing its profit. The e-commerce solution will allow businesses to eliminate unnecessary paperwork. All paperwork and data can be transformed into an electronic format. Thus, it will eliminate valuable shelf space and data can searched and accessed in matter of seconds. E-commerce will also automates the sales process. Customers can “point & click” on the products they wish to purchase, fill out the customer information, and the product will be shipped and received in a matter of few days. The administration department does not have to fill out any paperwork because the customer had done it already. Thus, the efficiency will be greatly improved. With an e-commerce solution, the business will be open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. People from anywhere in the world with an Internet access will be able to visit the site at any time. They will not be restricted to the “normal” business operating hours. A “brick + mortar” business is normally limited to serving the customers in its local geographical location. With an e-commerce solution, that business will not be limited a geographical restriction, rather it opens itself to the global on-line market. Essentially, the business’ market exposure will be greatly increased.

In conducting my study, I have researched extensively on the Internet for resources. I chose the Internet as my primary research medium because e-commerce is still a fairly new technology. Since it is technology related, the Internet will provide the most recent data available. Printed publications will not be able to adapt to changes as fast and efficient as electronic publications. I researched many e-commerce related web sites along with some companies that conduct statistical studies. Some of the e-commerce web sites that I looked into are E-Commerce Times, eRetail, and eMarketer. The statistical research firms that I researched are Forrester Research and Jupiter Communication. Both firms provided valuable statistical data that shows the rise of consumers shopping on-line and the predicted dollar amount that will be spent in the coming years.

Methods

In conducting my study, I completed the following tasks:

- I searched extensively on the Internet for sites that are e-commerce related. Upon visiting the sites, I evaluated each sites for the contents, thoroughness, and objectiveness. There are literally hundreds of sites that are devoted to e-commerce. However, after my careful examination of most of them, I narrowed down to four sites that I will research for this report.

- I have also researched many firms that conducts statistical researches. The two firms that I will be utilizing for this report are Forrester Research and Jupiter Communication. Both firms are known for their preciseness, non-objectiveness, and thoroughness. The statistical data I collected from these two firms will support my recommendation that every business should have an e-commerce solution implemented.

Results

From my research, I have developed twenty reasons why every business should incorporate an e-commerce solution into the business operation. They are listed below.

1. To Establish A Presence

There are approximately 70 million people worldwide that have access to the World Wide Web (WWW). No matter what industry or business one is in, one can not ignore 70 million people. To be part of that on-line community, one would need to be on the WWW for them. Because if one doe not do it, one’s competitor definitely will.

2. To Network

A lot of what passes for business is simply nothing more than making connections with other people. Every smart businessperson knows, it is not what one knows, it is whom one knows. Passing out one’s business card is part of every good meeting and every businessperson can tell more than one story how a chance meeting turned into the big deal. Well, what if one could pass out the business card to thousands, maybe millions of potential clients and partners, saying this is what I do and if you are ever in need of my services, this is how you can reach me. One can, 24 hours a day, inexpensively and simply, on the WWW.

3. To Make Business Information Available

What is basic business information? Think of a Yellow Pages ad. What are one’s business hours? What does one do? How can someone contact the business? What method of payment does one take? Where is the business located at? Now think of a Yellow Pages ad where one can have instant communication. What is today’s special? Today’s interest rate? Next week’s parking lot sale information? If one could keep one’s customer informed of every reason why they should do business with them, doesn’t one think one could do more business? One can on the WWW.

4. To Serve The Customers

Making business information available is one of the most important ways to serve the customers. But if one looks at serving the customer, one will find even more ways to use WWW technology. How about making forms available to pre-qualify for loans, or have one’s staff do a search for that classic jazz record one’s customer is looking for, without tying up one’s staff on the phone to take down the information? Allow the customer to punch in sizes and check it against a database that tells him what color of jacket is available in one’s store? All this can be done, simply and quickly, on the WWW.

5. To Heighten Public Interest

One won’t get Newsweek magazine to write up about one’s local store opening, but one might get them to write up one’s Web Page address if it is something new and interesting. Even if Newsweek would write about one’s local store opening, one would not benefit from someone in a distant city reading about it, unless of course, they were coming to one’s town sometime soon. With Web page information, anybody anywhere who can access the internet and hears about one’s site is a potential visitor to one’s Web site and a potential customer for one’s information there.

6. To Release Time Sensitive Material

What if one’s materials need to be released no earlier than midnight? The quarterly earnings statement, the grand prize winner, the press kit for the much anticipated film, the merger news? Well, one sent out the materials to the press with “The-do-not-release-before-such-and-such-time” statement and hope for the best. Now the information can be made available at midnight or any time one specifies, with all related materials such as photographs, bios, etc. released at exactly the same time. Imagine the anticipation of “All materials will be made available on our Web site at 12:01 AM”. The scoop goes to those that wait for the information to be posted, not the one who releases one’s information early.

7. To Sell Things

Many people think that this is the number one thing to do with the World Wide Web. However, I have made it number seven to make it clear that I think one should consider selling things on the Internet and the World Wide Web after one has done all the things above. Why? Well, the answer is complex but the best way to put it is, does one consider the telephone the best place to sell things? Probably not. One probably considers the telephone as a tool that allows one to communicate with one’s customer, which in turn helps one sell things. Well, that’s how I think one should consider the WWW. The technology is different, but before people decide to become customers, they want to know about one, what one does and what one can do for them. Which one can do easily and inexpensively on the WWW. Then one might be able to turn them into customers.

8. To make picture, sound and video available

What if one’s widget is great, but people would really love it if they could see it in action? The album is great but with no airplay, nobody knows that it sounds great? A picture is worth a thousand words, but one does not have the space for a thousand words? The WWW allows one to add sound, pictures and short movie files to one’s company’s info if that will serve one’s potential customers. No brochure will do that.

9. To Reach a Highly Desirable Demographic Market

The demographic of the WWW user is probably the highest mass-market demographic available. Usually they are college-educated or being college educated, making a high salary or soon to make a high salary. It is no wonder that Wired magazine, the magazine of choice to the Internet community, has no problem getting Lexus and other high-end marketer’s advertising. Even with the addition of the commercial on-line community, the demographic will remain high for many years to come.

10. To Answer Frequently Asked Questions

Whoever answers the telephones in one’s organization can tell one that their time is usually spent answering the same questions over and over again. These are the questions customers and potential customers want to know the answer to before they deal with one. Post them on a WWW page and one will have removed another barrier to doing business with one and freed up some time for that harried phone operator.

11. To Stay in Contact with Salespeople

One’s employees on the road may need up-to-the-minute information that will help them make the sale or pull together the deal. If one knows what that information is, one can keep it posted in complete privacy on the WWW. A quick local phone call can keep one’s staff supplied with the most detailed information, without long distance phone bills and tying up the staff at the home office.

12. To Open International Market

One may not be able to make sense of the mail, phone and regulation systems in

all the potential international markets, but with a e-commerce solution, one can open up a dialogue with international markets as easily as with the company across the street. As a matter-of-fact, before one goes onto the Web, one should decide how one wants to handle the international business that will come one’s way, because one’s postings are certain to bring international opportunities to one’s way, whether it is part of one’s plan or not. Another added benefit; if one’s company has offices overseas, they can access the home offices information for the price of a local phone call.

13. To Create a 24 Hour Service

If one has ever remembered too late or too early to call the opposite coast, one knows the hassle. Not all businesses are on the same schedule. Business is worldwide but one’s office hours aren’t. Trying to reach Asia or Europe is even more frustrating. However, Web pages serve the client, customer and partner 24 hours a day, seven days a week. No overtime either. It can customize information to match needs and collect important information that will put one ahead of the competition, even before they get into the office.

14. To Make Changing Information Available Quickly

Sometimes, information changes before it gets off the press. Now one has a pile of expensive, worthless paper. Electronic publishing changes with one’s needs. No paper, no ink, no printer’s bill. One can even attach one’s web page to a database which customizes the page’s output to a database one can change as many times in a day as one needs. No printed piece can match that flexibility.

15. To Allow Feedback From Customers

One passes out the brochure, the catalog, the booklet. But it doesn’t work. No sales, no calls, no leads. What went wrong? Wrong color, wrong price, wrong market? Keep testing, the marketing books say, and one will eventually find out what went wrong. That’s great for the big boys with deep pockets, but who is paying the bills? One is and one doesn’t have the time nor the money to wait for the answer. With a Web page, one can ask for feedback and get it instantaneously with no extra cost. An instant e-mail response can be built into Web pages and can get the answer while its fresh in one’s customers mind, without the cost and lack of response of business reply mail.

16. To Test Market New Services and Products

Tied into the reason above, we all know the cost of rolling out a new product. Advertising, advertising, advertising, press release and advertising. Expensive, expensive, expensive. Once one has been on the Web and know what to expect from those who are seeing one’s page, they are the least expensive market for one to reach. They will also let one knows what they think of one’s product faster, easier and much less expensively than any other market one may reach. For the cost of a page or two of Web programming, one can have a crystal ball into where to position one’s product or service in the marketplace.

17. To Reach The Media

Every kind of business needs the exposure that the media can bring, as I touched on in reason #5 “To Heighten Public Interest”, but what if one’s business is reaching the media, as a newswire, a publicist or a public policy group. The media is the most wired profession today, since their main product is information and they can get it more quickly, cheaply and easily on-line. On-line press kits are becoming more and more common, since they work with the digital environment of more and more pressrooms. Digital images can be put in place without the stripping and shooting of the old pressrooms and digital text can be edited and outputted on tight deadlines. All these can be made available on an e-commerce solution.

18. To Reach The Education and Youth Market

If one’s market is education, consider that most universities already offer Internet accesses to their students and most K-12’s will be on the Internet within the next few years. Books, athletic shoes, study courses, youth fashion and anything else that would want to reach these overlapping markets needs to be on the WWW. Even with the coming of the commercial on-line services and their somewhat older populations there will be nothing but growth in the percentage of the under 25 market that will be on-line.

19. To Reach The Specialized Market

Sell fish tanks, art reproductions, flying lessons? One may think that the Internet is not a good place to be. Well, think again. The Internet isn’t just for computer science students anymore. With the 70 million and growing users of the WWW, even the most narrowly defined interest group will be represented in large numbers. Since the Web has several very good search programs, one’s interest group will be able to find one’s company, or one’s competitors.

20. To Serve One’s Local Market

I’ve talked about the power to serve the world with a e-commerce solution. How about one’s neighborhood? If one is located in San Francisco Bay Area, the Raleigh NC area, Boston or New York, there is probably enough local customers with Internet access to make it worth one’s while to consider Web marketing. A local Palo Alto, CA restaurant even takes lunch orders through the Internet! But no matter where one is, if the big client has Internet access, one should be there too.

Conclusion

After detailed analyzing and studying of the effects and benefits of incorporating an e-commerce solution to an existing business, it is clear that an e-commerce solution will benefit the business in every aspect.

The implementation of an e-commerce solution will generate a brand new revenue stream, expand the market exposure, and decrease the operation cost. Many Fortune 500 companies, such as Dell Computer Corp., have already adapted e-commerce into their business operation. As I have mentioned earlier, Dell Computer Corp. is currently generating over 1 million dollars in revenues from their web-site. Many well-known “brick & mortar” businesses are starting to establish their presence on the web. For example, Barnes & Noble Booksellers, the top book retailer in North America, has just launched their web-site earlier this year following the success of Amazon.com. Amazon.com, the top book & music seller on the web, has been referred to have one of the most efficient business operation in the world today.

Recommendation

Based on the conclusion of this study, I recommend the following:

- Every business should implement an e-commerce solution into the business operation.

Endless list of anything lands you in confusion to make a choice out of it. Same is the case with Window Blinds. Are you confused about which Window Blind to choose? If your answer is ‘yes’ than this article is meant for you. The list of it goes like Wood Blinds, Plantation Blinds, Value Blinds, Mini Blinds, Faux Blinds and so on and on. Sounds familiar right? Don’t confuse! This article will resolve the confusion.

One thing you must take care is there are varieties of Window Blinds with different standards of quality. So always make sure that you have good extent of understanding about the quality difference between them. Window Blinds play a major role in altering the mood and lighting status so do keep in mind this point also.

Both the above stated Blinds are similar in the aspect of the quality material that they are made with. The window coverings that are partially constructed with a height of your choice to a specific extent according to the window size are Express, Cut-Down, And Value Blinds. They are artistically adjusted to fit into the window. Everything needs good colour combination to appear good. Even these are offered in different colours but a little limited. They even are organized in the matter of convenience. The tilt cord controls on left and the Raise and the lower cords on the right make them more comfortable.

You might have come across a lot of large discount stores; they hardly provide you with what you require. They simply rely on offering low price Blinds which are most commonly used and are of a particular size on an average. That even lands you in more complex situation making your room uglier than before. That is all because they hardly fill your requirement. The size of the Blind either does not fit well to your windows size or the inferior quality of the Blind makes it worst.

Rather than landing in all the above circumstances you may look for Value Blinds. Don’t worry about the cost, because it’s one and the same. Value Blinds even fill all your requirements. Lets take up self stock Blinds, all the windows do not have same size and dimensions right? And, Self stock Blinds fit to only the window in a particular limit of sizes.

Now consider price, its reasonable to consider price to some extent but if you over consider it. You will end up buying Shelf Stock Blinds because they cover the market at the lowest price range. Do keep in mind the low quality materials that they are made up of, the limited colour range that they come in, and most importantly the least warranty of the Blinds. Where as what if Stock Blinds takes somewhat more money but give you the warranty of around 3-5 years.

They are the best ones. They are built basing on the size of each window properly measured which makes them a perfect fit for any window of your residence. Not just that they even come with the life long warranty on them. The best material and hardware used in their preparation makes them highly recommended for their best quality. That’s not all; they are marketed by highly reputed and pure branded companies like Timber Blinds, Hunter Douglas, Levelor, Royal Windows, Graber, Prestige and Bali. They are even demarcated with the very huge range of colour choices. The different shades of white and the 20%2B stained wood tones gives you better platform to make a choice of your own.

Of course you can buy a forex robot from the net but most of them won’t make you money as they have never been traded and have paper track records or you can have one which is FREE works, will continue to work and has made huge gains…

Before we start most forex robots don’t work because they are designed in hindsight and the vendor bends the rules to fit the data he is testing as no two portions of data ever replicate themselves exactly, the system fails.

This is known as “curve fitting”, or bending the rules to fit the data.

One trader I know, likened this to shooting at barn door and then drawing a chalk circle around each and every shot, to make it look like a bulls-eye afterwards.

Here’s the disclaimer you see on just about every robot sold:

“CFTC RULE 4.41 – Hypothetical or simulated performance results have certain limitations. Unlike an actual performance record, simulated results do not represent actual trading. Also, since the trades have not been executed, the results may have under-or-over compensated for the impact, if any, of certain market factors, such as lack of liquidity. Simulated trading programs in general are also subject to the fact that they are designed with the benefit of hindsight. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profit or losses similar to those shown”.

Now people get put off automatic forex trading systems and think they just don’t work but they do and the one that we are going to outline has been used as the basis for forex trading strategies for some of the top traders in the world.

Before we outline it, be aware it cannot be “curve fitted” why? Because its only one rule and you cant curve fit that by definition!

The system was originally devised by legendary trader Richard Donchian to trade commodities and takes advantage of the 4 week cycle that prevails in most markets. Here is the rule:

It’s simple – buy a 4 week calendar high and reverse and sell a 4 week low – that’s it.

To simple to make money? Not as all…

Try it and you will see it makes money and is basically a long term breakout trend following system which will put you on the right side of every major move.

The only downside is when the market doesn’t trend it can get chopped but you can cut drawdown by exiting on a shorter time frame ( try 1 and 2 weeks) and then re-entering on the 4 week rule.

This system has been used by trading legends such as Richard Dennis and if it’s good enough for him well its good enough for you and me.

A word of warning this system works and will continue to work but it requires discipline – its long term and its not fussy about market timing and there is no manual input but stick with it over the longer term and you will be well rewarded and NEVER miss a big trend again.

Most traders won’t use it though after all it’s not as trendy as Fibonacci, a neural network or system based on chaos theory yet, it will beat 90% of other systems hands down.

If you are interested in making money from a forex robot and you want one that’s stood the test of time then you should use the 4 Week Rule

All the best forex trading systems are simple and you can’t get much simpler than this one but don’t assume because its simple it doesn’t make money – it does. Try it for yourself and see.

A credit score is a vital part of your borrowing status. It measures the likelihood of a consumer being 90 days late or more on any loan payment over the next two years. There are three credit bureaus that give scores to consumers: TransUnion, Experian and Equifax. These three bureaus all report to the Fair Isaac Corporation (FICO), which also gives credit scores. FICO classic score is the more important one, because mortgage brokers and many other lenders prefer it as a standard. FICO scores range from 350 to 800 – higher being more beneficial to the consumer.

How does this work?

The risk that a creditor takes in lending someone with a lower score is fixed to the interest rates as a financing fee creating higher overall interest rates, monthly payments and more money spent over the length of a loan. A high FICO score generates lower interest rates because the risk involved is low.

What does this mean?

Ideally, consumers want to strive toward that 800 so as to lower their interest rates and save thousands of dollars in financing fees and extra interest. A score that high, however, is rare. Only one in 1,300 people in the US have a score of 800 or above, a stark contrast with one in eight people with scores between 500 and 600. These consumers could face not qualifying for loans and incredibly high interest rates up to 8.5% to 10% or more.

How much can be saved?

Increasing FICO scores could save a person hundreds of thousands of dollars depending on the initial cost of the loan. For example if I wanted to buy a house for $350,000 with a FICO score of 640, I might be approved for an interest rate of 7.415% on a 30-year fixed rate loan. My monthly payments would then be $2,426.91. Now if I increased my score 60 points to 700, my monthly payment would drop to $2,171.2. I would save $92,056.91 in fees and interest over the life of the loan.

Credit scores are vital to consumers and maintaining good credit can save you lots of money. They affect each and every one of us, especially if we want to buy a house, a car, or any large purchase that would require a loan for most of us. If you feel your rates are too high, they probably are and you should considering looking at the health of your credit score. Credit bureaus make mistakes and it is possible that you could be paying for mistakes made on your record, quite literally!

To learn more about how you can help increase your credit score, go to Dr. Alan Rosenthal’s website at http://www.financialsolutionservices.com where you can find more great information on credit improvement.

This report will focus on the Firepow Blogging Software, a subscription based internet marketing system promoted by Andrew Hansen of Australia. The various details of Firepow, including its features, benefits and the nuts and bolts of how it works will be analyzed and, it is hoped, a potential subscriber will learn enough about the program to be able to make up his or her mind about whether it would be a useful and profitable investment as part of their internet marketing toolbox.

For several years now the internet marketing community has known that one can make a good deal of money online by setting up a blog, using it to attract natural traffic, that is traffic that you do not have to pay to get, and then profiting by earning commissions on sales of affiliate products or by earning revenue by placing pay per click advertisements.

As this process becomes more and more refined, various experts in the field have created and marketed information products, software and other systems to make it easier for someone else to succeed in the realm of internet marketing.

Andrew Hansen previously offered programs called “Niche Marketing on Crack” and “Plug and Play Niche Marketing” prior to his introduction in the summer of 2008 of Firepow. Unlike the previous two systems which were basically informational products, Firepow is a much more elaborate membership site for which one pays a monthly subscription fee and then gets access to a wide range of tools.

One of the most important factors in building a profitable blog is to build it on the right kind of a niche and to pick the best set of keywords to use in optimizing one’s blog so it will gain a high rank among internet search engines. Firepow makes this process very easy by making available to its members ready made databases of keywords that even include details of an affiliate product. During the month of August, 2008, 14 different niches were made available via the Firepow forum, and similar niches are expected to be added in successive months.

Firepow greatly automates and simplifies the process by which WordPress blogs are installed and configured, and plugins are activated. To make the process even simpler, Firepow even can supply a hosting service at no extra charge, leaving the webmaster having only to invest the domain registration fee which, in most cases, is under ten dollars per year.

One of the most unusual features of Firepow is that they have more than 100 different blogs and high page rank websites on which subscribers can post short articles in order to gain the valuable back links that help raise the profile and profitability of a new blog by generating traffic. Some Firepow users have reported that, in less than one week, their newly born websites have achieved page one search engine status for their primary keywords.

More details about how Firepow works are on Jeff Truman’s website, tellthebosstogetlost.com. Mr. Truman also writes product reviews and reports for the reportsandreviews.info website.
